Terms of Service

Version 1.0 — Effective 29 March 2026

1. Who we are

LaunchHQ(“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an online platform that gives founders access to tools, information, and recommendations to help them build and grow a startup. We operate this service at launchhq.co.uk. To get in touch, email us at support@launchhq.co.uk.

2. What you're agreeing to

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not register or use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to use LaunchHQ. By registering, you confirm that you are.

3. Important: what our service is — and what it is not

LaunchHQ provides general information and guidance to help you make decisions about your startup. This is not professional legal, financial, tax, accounting, or business advice.

Think of it like a well-informed friend who knows a lot about startups — useful, but not a substitute for a qualified professional. Before making any significant business, legal, or financial decision, we strongly recommend you speak to a qualified professional in that area.

4. No liability for losses

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, LaunchHQ is not liable for:

  • Any financial loss, loss of profit, or loss of business arising from your use of the platform
  • Any decision you make based on information or recommendations provided by the platform
  • Any indirect or consequential loss of any kind
  • Any loss arising from third-party services, tools, or links we reference

This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

If you are a consumer (not acting in a business capacity), your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

5. Accuracy of information

We do our best to keep the information on LaunchHQ accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that everything is always correct, complete, or current. Laws, market conditions, and best practices change — always verify important information from official or professional sources.

6. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Do not share your password with anyone. If you think your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us straight away at support@launchhq.co.uk.

You may only create one account per person. Accounts created by bots or automated methods are not permitted.

7. Subscriptions and payments

Some tools on LaunchHQ require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing terms, and cancellation rights are shown clearly before you pay. All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

If you are a consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase, unless you have already started using the digital content.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use LaunchHQ to:

  • Break any law or regulation
  • Infringe anyone else's intellectual property rights
  • Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or fraudulent content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Resell or redistribute our content without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.

9. Intellectual property

All content on LaunchHQ — including text, tools, designs, and software — belongs to us or our licensors. You may use it for your own personal or business purposes but may not copy, republish, or sell it without our written permission.

10. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time by contacting us at support@launchhq.co.uk. We will delete your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or by showing a notice when you next log in. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer residing elsewhere in the UK, in which case your local courts may also apply.

13. Contact us

If you have any questions about these terms, email us at support@launchhq.co.uk.
